Nothing Sweeter than a friend like you

Loving this new idea with the recycled glass jars. They are fun to work up and make an inexpensive quick gift.  I'm preparing several in different colors.  Email me if you are interested mmurphydesigns@live.com.  They're only $8.

Fill them with your favorite sweet and GIFT away!

Lady Bug Theme

I've been working on a new lady bug theme. Party invites, favors, a pennant, clips, and even a cute project for the kids to work on during the celebration. Posting some preliminary photos for a special friend of mine to see :0)

Still playing with Stamping Up Supplies

I've got a pile of supplies still left from the Stamping Up sale I went to last week so I've been keeping cool in my studio and creating with my purchases.

First I made some cards

Then I made a few scrapbook pages.

Summer Drinks anyone?

Several days ago, I had a little get together with some crafty friends of mine. When we get together each of us usually brings a little project to share and color. It's fun and we practice using our Copic markers.

Here is the project I shared this month in honor of summer.

Photo Video

I've been photographing since I was 17 years old. I started working at a Photography Studio in Plymouth and knew back then how much I loved photography. The owner of the studio took me under his wing and taught me so much. I still have such a love of the art and do lots of amateur photo shoots for people.  Last year I had an opportunity to develop some video skills which is something I had never done before.  Again, totally hooked on anything that involves memory keeping.   After a recent baby photo shoot, I put together a video with some of the photos I took of the baby.  I'm posting this to share with a couple of friends of mine that are expecting. It's a neat little memento of your most precious photos!

Cards

It's no secret that Stampin' Up is one of my favorite stamp companies.  I love their stamps and have been using them for a good 3 years now.  Their new catalog is absolutely fantastic and I think the Gardner family is very creative! The company is very inspiring and every time I get a new catalog, I get the bug to create.  While my order won't come in for approximately a week, I did put some simple cards together the other day using some of their older stamps and paper that I recently purchased.

If anyone is interested in Stamping Up and needs a demonstrator, my friend Kerin lives close by and is very good.  Here is a link to her site in case you would like to place an order. Stamps, paper, glitter
